Whales

There are four families of whales.

Beaked Whale

They have very few teeth and small flippers.

Sperm Whale

They have a large head and a rounded back fin.

White Whale

They have no back fin, and have a blunt snout.

Dolphin

They have sickle shaped flippers and a back fin.

There are different genera of dolphins.

Bottle-nosed Dolphin

These live in all the oceans of the tropical and temperate regions of the world.

White Dolphin

The White sided Dolphin lives in the open waters of the north Pacific ocean, and around Japan and North America.

Dusky Dolphin

Dusky Dolphins live in the coastal waters of New Zealand, South Africa and South America.
