Addition

Addition means putting things together.

Eg: 3 + 1 = 4

Mickey and the Cards

Mickey Mouse has a magical castle.

He has many special friends in the castle, but he loves playing with his cards.

Everytime he visits the castle, he adds new cards and they all play together.

Putting things together means addition.

Mickey had 5 playing cards.

He invited 3 more cards to play with them.

Addition means putting things together.

If you add 3 to 5, we will have to count 3 more numbers after 5.

5 + 3 = 8

We have + (Plus) symbol for Addition.

Eg: Adding five to two, gives seven.

5 + 2 = 7

Remember, "putting together" is same as addition.
