# Types of Lines

The structure formed by joining two rays going in exactly opposite directions, with a common starting point, goes on and on in both directions. It is called a line

A line is a straight path that extends on and on in both directions without ever ending.

The lines that **never** intersect each other are called parallel lines.

Lines which **meet each other, or intersect** are called intersecting lines.

Lines which **intersect**, forming a **right angle** are called perpendicular lines.
